Striker Robert Thomson is looking to use the experience he gained in the SPL with Dundee United and in the SFL on-loan with Alloa to secure a new club after being released by the Tannadice side.

The Paisley born forward who turned 20 yesterday had been a full timer for United for 4 years and made two appearances in the SPL last season after a successful temporary period at Alloa where he scored four times including a spectacular overhead kick against Albion Rovers.
Thomson said: “I enjoyed getting a taste for first team football at Alloa and built on that at United. Hopefully that will stand me in good stead for finding a club for next season and beyond.”
